"We women have an ingrained pattern of underestimating the value of our work. If you think who am I to be recognized? You should challenge yourself by entering your nomination. And nominate a woman leader you admire too."

When did you start your business?
2019

What was the inspiration behind your work/business?
Following a journey with toxic leadership and trauma release, I realized the answers to creating a more peaceful and prosperous world lie in equipping every individual with the knowledge and tools to live an integrated life, healed from past trauma, and in coherence with one’s individual essence, aspirations, and strengths. So, I developed a leadership model and courses that do exactly that.

What are you most excited about in your work/business?
The impact it leaves in people’s lives long after our work.

What has been the most challenging thing about starting your work/business?
Believing in my vision when I was grappling with debilitating trauma.

What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting a work/business?
You carry within you unique wisdom. Believe in yourself, find the answers and the allies to your journey and step up to lead us into a better future.

Why did you enter the Women Changing the World Awards?
I was nominated by a friend and colleague in the UK. I was honored to receive the nomination and it felt like a stretch to own it. And because I wish I had seen more women who look like me in such a position when I was younger. I am deeply honored to be visible in such a way that empowers other women and men to share their voices and bring their cultural wisdom to the world.

What did you enjoy the most about being part of the awards?
It was truly a wonderful experience. I had no idea what to expect but the journey felt like opening a box of surprises. I enjoyed meeting the other nominees at the venue in London. It felt like a vortex of deep feminine wisdom in action together. It was inspiring, uplifting and motivating.

What surprised you most about the awards?
The high caliber of the guests. Meeting Tererai, the Women Changing the World Team and The Duchess of York were all wonderful. And the energy of the evening with the nominees was magical.

How did the awards help you in your work/business?
They brought more visibility to my work and helped me step into a new level of my leadership.

What advice would you give to other women thinking about entering the awards?
We women have an ingrained pattern of underestimating the value of our work. If you think who am I to be recognized? You should challenge yourself by entering your nomination. And nominate a woman leader you admire too.

What has been the best thing about starting your own work/business?
The freedom to live by my own rules, to live and embody my purpose in my own way, and to collaborate with my mentors who are now friends. And the best part is I can work from anywhere. I love being invited abroad for work and meet people from other cultures.

What’s happening next in your work/business?
My main focus will be on speaking and consulting with leaders globally. Because I believe the change we need as a collective needs to be at all levels, I am always working with both leaders and at the community level. Since the Israel-Palestine war broke out, I have been involved in a project to bring healing and unity across the Muslim-Jewish divide with a Jewish man. Those who attended our first two online events have been deeply moved, and based on the feedback we received, we are now working to make the alternative to war visible and more widely available. As per my leadership model, we are aiming to reach people at 4 levels: personal, relational, cultural and systemic. Hence, working with individuals and leaders. Anyone interested can find out more by subscribing to my newsletter or reach out through my website.

What are your big plans for the future?
Continue to co-create a world where everyone can live in dignity and peace.
