Tracey Cook, (TC), is a former Radio Announcer, Podcast host, best-selling author, and global speaker. and has spent the last 3 years interviewing over 300 people, including International Celebrities, and been a featured guest on over 200 virtual stages & Podcasts. the managing Director of her own Podcast Consulting Agency (The Podcast Empire) & an advocate for women finding and sharing their voices of impact with others.
In 2020 Tracey partnered with a local TV station to launch a Podcast and soon realised that many women had stories to share and a global movement was born. Tracey advocates for survivors of lived experiences to rise up, be seen, and be heard, and become our Visionaries of tomorrow. When Tracey is not Podcasting she is typically found volunteering in community activities for women of abuse and is a nanna of 9 beautiful grandchildren.

When did you start your business?

What was the inspiration behind your work?
She is passionate about empowering women to follow their dreams and create something amazing out of our own lived experiences of overcoming obstacles and trauma.
What are you most excited about in your work?
To be able to empower women and support them with the skills and resources they need to be able to find their voices and share their messages of impact with the world by leveraging podcasting. It warms my heart when people change the world with love, understanding and empathy for others
What has been the most challenging thing about your work?
The challenges have been overcoming the doubters and naysayers. To feel the fear and do it anyway. To not give into old programming of the "I'm not worthy" inner critic and rise up with courage to find my voice in times of doubt. It's important to connect back to our why when facing uncertainty in a challenging business that is building an audience of like-minded people that then creates a movement and the responsibility that comes with that
What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting work?
Whenever we are in the thinking stage of starting a business, it's important to start with your why. You have to be driven with determination, consistency, and passion to create something that will help people have a transformation. When you have those challenging conversations with people who will try to stop you from achieving your goals in your business, you have to find your voice, never compromise your integrity and make decisions based on your values and beliefs. When you have these foundations, the rest is just skill-building and logistics. This is how you will build, scale and grow
Why did you enter the Women Changing the World Awards?
To be part of a global movement of change makers is something to aspire to. To be around the visionaries of tomorrow and share ideas, support fellow women in their dreams and to help spread the words of kindness and compassion that encourage other women to rise up and take their seat at the table. I have something remarkable to offer women of the world and through my lived experiences I now help other women find their voice, rise up and share their messages of impact with the power of podcasting. Being part of women changing the world awards, helps together women find their worth and be celebrated as they should be
What did you enjoy the most about being part of the awards?
The community, the passion, the global movement of change makers and the leadership that is shining through to help be the change in the world inspired me to be part of these amazing awards
What surprised you most about the awards?
The global community that now supports each other in every aspect of their womanhood and their empowerment in all industries of the world
How did the awards help you in your work/business?
It drew attention to the global impact that finding your voice an make. The awards helped my Podcast business is recognition and awareness through the awards that aligned with my mission, vales and beliefs. It allowed me to connect on a deeper level with women who were ready to rise up and be heard with their own messages of impact
What advice would you give to other women thinking about entering the awards?
Imagine for a moment that you had been playing small your entire life, because of circumstances, people and adversities. In that moment you found a movement of women that are changing the world and you enter that like-minded community that now empowers you, supports and celebrates you in your greatness. These awards are more than recognition, they are a movement of women changing the world for the better
What has been the best thing about starting your own work/business?
Being an entrepreneur with passion and drive for helping other women find their greatness is challenging and rewarding. The unlimited potential we all have inside of us, just takes 1 person to believe in us to help us rise up and step into the best version of ourselves. it is more than a business it is a legacy business that will help change family's financial blueprints and break generational chains of abuse
What’s happening next in your work/business?
The next chapter of our business is elevating women in business with the tools and resources to launch their own podcasts, find their voices and share messages of impact with the world. We have an upcoming TV show, and another book launch all centered around women in business in different industries that are being the change in the world
What are your big plans for the future?
The big audacious goal is to travel globally on stage and speak in women's groups with the necessary tools and resources to launch a podcast and how to creaft their own personal story into building their brand and influence online
